Hey everybody! We’re asking, What’s the Bible all about?  The Bible’s about God, it’s about good news and the Bible’s about hope.  

Throughout all the pages of Scripture the echoing theme is hope that things can be better, that you can be different and that you don’t have to be who you’ve always been.  You’re not tied to what your parents did and their parents did before them and before them – you can become a new person.  In fact, one of the verses that I love in the Bible is II Corinthians 5:17.  It says, If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.  The old is gone and the new is come.  Isn’t that awesome!  It just means that you can be made new!  You can start over!  You can get a redo on life!  You can have your old life that is a botched mess put away.  You can leave it behind and you can start over in your relationship with God that is brand new.  

That’s the hope that we have in the Bible and that comes when you receive Christ.  All the way through the Bible there’s this echoing line and an echoing message.  There’s hope! There’s hope of heaven.  There’s hope of change.  There’s hope of forgiveness.  There’s hope of tomorrow because of the Scripture.  If you are saying, I don’t have much hope today, then cry out to God.  Say, God, I need hope; I need you!
